There’s time for sightseeing, too!

The Graduate Hotel is located across the street from the University of Virginia campus. Take a stroll on campus or better yet, borrow a free bike from the front desk and explore the town on two wheels.

Need 4 wheels instead of 2? Charlottesville Free Trolley operates six days a week and is a great option when traveling between the University of Virginia area and Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall. The Downtown Mall is a busy pedestrian mall with 150 bars, restaurants, and shops.

Visit the Farmers Market at IX Art Park on Saturday to support the 60 local vendors. While at IX Art Park, be sure to stroll around to see the murals and sculptures and the first permanent immersive art space: The Looking Glass.

Huge news for wine lovers, Wine Enthusiast’s Wine Star Awards named Charlottesville 2023’s Wine Region of the Year. The wine history in this area dates to the days of Thomas Jefferson, when he would experiment growing grapes at his mountaintop home of Monticello. There are now 40 vineyards within a 25-mile radius of Charlottesville.

Not interested in wine? More interested in a dram of whiskey? Ragged Branch Distillery has a tasting room for you to test out their Virginia Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

We look forward to Seeing You In September
